How to re-deploy a firebase hosted website with a new git branch?
I am using firebase to host my single page application. I was hosting the master branch but then changed to a different branch and now want to deploy that branch instead of master. I thought simply doing firebase deploy from my branch would deploy the new branch but for some reason the master is still being deployed. Any ideas why?
git firebase firebase-hosting firebase-cli

Firebase Hosting (nor its CLI tools) have zero knowledge of Git/Github. When you runfirebase deploy
it just deploys whatever files you point to in yourfirebase.json
. If they're deploying the wrong branch, it sounds like that location still contains the file from master.
