GMail Javascript API and OAUTH
I want to send an email (using gmail) from javascript in a browser page. The issue I am having is with authentication. The page is served from an application on a proprietary mobile device (not very powerful) that will likely be on a local network using dhcp e.g. 192.168.2.150. (e.g. "http://192.168.2.150/"). Is this possible? Having to create API key and OAUTH credential I have to give the source, but of course the source would change depending on the device and location. Are there not credentials that are similar to username and password, then the user could authenticate themselves, then the page send the e-mail.
I am trying to use gmail instead of SMTP mail.
Any advice would be appreciated.
