Insert Matlab Logical Array into MySQL Column of type bit(16)
I am trying to insert 16 bits of data, stored as a logical array in Matlab, into a MySQL column of type bit(16) using JDBC Connector and standard sqlwrite() function from Matlab Database Toolbox.
logical_array = '1010010110100101' == '1'; % Create a logical array of length 16 (1x16 logical)
logical_array_cell = {logical_array}; % Put the logical array in a cell (1x1 cell)
T = cell2table(logical_array_cell,'VariableNames',{'column_name'}); % Convert to table
sqlwrite(database_connection, 'table_name', T);
Connection to database is already working fine. The error is as follow:
Error using database.jdbc.connection/sqlwrite (line 172) JDBC JDBC/ODBC Error: Cannot convert class [Z to SQL type requested due to
java.lang.ClassCastException - [Z cannot be cast to java.lang.Number.
