How can WordPress users enter an apostrophe in the comment box of a post?
I'm fighting this problem on a site I manage (using the WordPress 2017 theme), but I've encountered it as a user on other sites.
I'm using Firefox 63 on MacOS. Sometimes, not always, when I enter text in the comment box below a post, typing an apostrophe opens the Firefox text search bar (bottom of page) and leaves the cursor there. There seems to be no way to actually get the apostrophe into my comment.
I haven't yet discerned a pattern to when I can type an apostrophe and when I can't.
What's wrong, and how can I fix it?
Thanks.
