Get Image src from server path

0

I can't get the image scr from the server path.
I did pass the param correctly.
I'm using MVC for the project.

The Front End Code was:

<img id='imgQRCode' src="@UploadFileHelper.GetFile(Model.QRCodePath)" />

The Back End Code was:

 public static FileResult GetFile(string pathName)
{
if (File.Exists(pathName))
{
return new FileStreamResult(new FileStream(pathName, FileMode.Open), "image/jpg");
}

return null;
}

The Model.QRCodePath was:

\ABC-DE-113QRCodePic1.jpg

There is am image inside the file and the File.Exists is true.

However I get System.Web.Mvc.FileStreamResult from the src.

Is there any wrong with my code?

  • What you mean "I did pass the param correctly, however I get a null value from the param."? If you get null for pathName, then obviously you didn't passed it correctly.
