JsonMappingException: Can not construct instance of interface
I have an interface:
//@JsonDeserialize(as = ProjectEditor.class)
//@JsonDeserialize(using = ProjectEditorDeserializer.class)
@JsonTypeInfo(use = JsonTypeInfo.Id.CLASS, include = JsonTypeInfo.As.PROPERTY, property = "className")
//@JsonTypeInfo(use = JsonTypeInfo.Id.NAME, include = JsonTypeInfo.As.PROPERTY, property = "type")|
public interface IProjectEditor extends Serializable{
and I'm trying to call a rest api mehtod that gets as input IProjectEditor object:
@Override
public void fabricate(IProjectEditor projectEditor, String fabConfigName)
throws FabricationException, SpecificationException {
Invocation.Builder builder = baseTarget.path(apiPath + "/fabricate").queryParam("fabConfigName", fabConfigName).request(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON);
try {
Response response = builder.post(Entity.json(projectEditor));
checkResponseErrors(response);
} catch (InternalErrortException e) {
throw new FabricationException(e.getMessage());
}
}
But I'm getting the following error:

I tried doing an external Deserializer but it will require changing components structures and moving classes.. the IProjectEditor is in one component and the ProjectEditor implementing it is in a different one... but when writing a Deserializer need both of them and it's causing a redirectional (cycle relation) between them:
