How to create a package that executes several commands with a single line of code in linux

0

Some time ago I used a configuration of someone else who installed a software in linux, already configured to use. However when this is done manually you must write approximately 5 lines of code and modify some files by editing lines. Currently I want to do the same but for personal purposes and I do not know how, since I have a text file where I have all the commands to write in the console and replace in one file, one line for another.

Basically what I would like is:

  • Use the system update commands.

  • Install the app.

  • Open an existing text file, Replace two lines of code with others.

  • And reset the service.

What you are looking for is a shell script. Google shell script commands for the different tasks you like.. And find out how to run the script..
