Rails with passenger Bundler::RubyVersionMismatch

0

I have updated ruby to 2.5.3 from 2.5.1. I'm using rbenv.

On production server (with passenger and nginx), I get the error

Your Ruby version is 2.5.1, but your Gemfile specified 2.5.3
(Bundler::RubyVersionMismatch)

If I run ruby -v I get 2.5.3.

If I start the server manually in production it works, but if I just open it from it's ip i get that error. So I assume it's related to passenger.

I tried all solutions like reinstall or update bundler, remove spring.. but nothing works.

Any idea about where I should look?

  • Do you have passenger_ruby specified in the nginx.conf file? Is that pointing to the old version of ruby?
