Mendeley web importer citation style different from desktop version

0

Mendeley automatically generates citation keys for you. However the way, Mendeley desktop and Mendely web importer do this is different, creating problems.

Mendely desktop generates citation key as [Lastname][Year], while web importer generates it as [Lastname][Year][First word of title][Last word of title].

Because of this, all my citation keys do not have a single format as I add some references using desktop version and some using web importer.

I like the style of desktop version. How do I change the style of web importer to that of desktop version?
