material error not displayed for mat-select for FormArray
I have a FormArray which has property productcode.
<mat-form-field>
<mat-select placeholder="product code">
<mat-option *ngFor="let product of products"[value]="product.code">
{{product.val}}
</mat-option>
</mat-select>
<mat-error>product code should be unique</mat-error>
</mat-form-field>
I have add button which adds new record in form array preselected first value. Once i click on add button to programmatically insert new record in form array, the mat-select appears on screen. but duplicate validation message is not displayed at mat-error. If we manually select value, then only it works.
