Is there an API to show a iOS system level dialog asking users to opt in AutoFill Passwords

0

iOS has support for Password AutoFill for Apps that shows available password above the keyboard:
enter image description here

however if AutoFill Passwords is turned off in settings its not useful anymore(nothing will show above the keyboard even if you have saved password):
enter image description here

is there an iOS API we could use to trigger a system level dialog that asks users to opt in Password AutoFill? just like the dialog asking for permissions for location/notification?

  • No. Your app has no visibility as to whether this setting is on or off and you can't ask the user to turn it on. It is a choice they have made. If they want to enter passwords manually then that is what they want to do.
