Interprocess Communication between R and C for sending CSVs

0

I have a C process, which creates csv files 10/sec. Due to the high intensity, I need to pass them into R through IPC or via sockets.

I have read the following articles which describes how to do this for text characters. Have tried them but unable to read the csvs in R.

Link 1 : http://blog.corynissen.com/2013/05/using-r-to-communicate-via-socket.html

Link 2 : https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/ipc/vignettes/shinymp.html

Also the process in R should not get blocked while reading. Is there any way/ is it possible to achieve this ?

  • What exactly did you try and what exactly does "unable to read the csvs" mean? Did you get an error of some kind? It's easier to help you if you include a simple reproducible example with sample input and desired output that can be used to test and verify possible solutions.
