Android webview ambiguous nature: Webview is showing popups in some devices while not in others

0

So this is the most weird problem I have ever faced: I created an app having a webview that contains a video streaming iframe, the problem is that there were no popups messages or webpages when I open the app in one of my device (having android version naughat) and the same app is showing popups in two of my other devices (one is KitKat and one jellybean). Why is it happening? Is it something to do with the api version?

I tried:
1) setting up a web client
2) setting up a chrome client
3) clearing cache
None work :(

Please help, thanks.
