On my newer computer I have all of the MikTeX distribution fullly updated and my codes are being correctly read but the Output window is not showing the correct number of pages. For example

enter image description here

show 0 pages

but the pdf outputs:

enter image description here

5 pages?????

Why is this happening?

  • I guess you see the pdf file created with an earlier compile run? Check the date of the pdf file and your log file. They are different? My guess was right! They are the same? Show the log file ...
