window.onerror lineno exceeds number of lines in document.documentElement.outerHTML

0

I'm using window.onerror to capture javascript errors, but sometimes the lineno parameter exceeds the number of lines in document.documentElement.outerHTML

How can I capture the HTML that window.onerror is referencing?

I suspect the root cause of the discrepancy is either the loading of cross-origin scripts or the HTML being edited by javascript on load.

window.onerror = function(message, source, lineno, colno, error) {
var html = document.documentElement.outerHTML
}
