Kubernetes: Assigning Static IP to LoadBalancer type service fails on Ali cloud
Anyone using Kubernetes on Ali cloud?
How can I use static IP address for LoadBalancer type service? I have created a Static IP address and when I specify IP address in loadBalancerIP, it fails with this message LoadBalancerIP cannot be specified for Alicloud SLB. Any help would be appreciated.
- kind: Service
apiVersion: v1
metadata:
name: app-service
spec:
selector:
app: APP_NAME
ports:
- protocol: TCP
port: 8080
targetPort: 8080
name: p2p
type: LoadBalancer
loadBalancerIP: <IP Address>
I assume Ali cloud doesn't support this. If yes, is there any alternative?
