Transfer-encoding Chunked to response
I am trying to understand someone else code, and I got stuck on a part about Request transfer-encoding chunked. Maybe some of you can help me understand it?
if (task.IsCompleted && task.IsCanceled == false && task.IsFaulted == false)
{
// Iterate headers in the HttpClient result.
foreach (var responseHeader in task.Result.Content.Headers)
{
foreach (var value in responseHeader.Value)
{
if (responseHeader.Key.ToLower() == "transfer-encoding" && value.ToLower() == "chunked")
{
continue;
context.Response.AddHeader(responseHeader.Key, value);
}
}
}
}
The code is part of a class that sends a HTTPClient request, and put the response back inside a HttpContext. The HttpContext are later on supposed to be sent back to the client.
What I don't understand is why the headers that is chunked transfer-encoded should not be added to the HttpContext. Is it because these files are not fully loaded; but then why get the rest of headers if file is not complete?
I am sorry that I cant show rest of code, and that this question might be hard to tell without it.
