SAML for web services and sql server using Azure AD

1

I am using Azure to create a web service where users can login and submit a form and the information will be inserted into Azure SQL database. Users are employees in my organisation.

For user authentication, I'm using Azure Active Directory to authenticate.

It's configured like this.

For SQL server authentication, I use this code in php to log the user in the server.

    // SQL Server Extension:
$connectionInfo = array("UID" => "my_user_id", "pwd" => "my_password", "Database" => "my_database", "LoginTimeout" => 30, "Encrypt" => 1, "TrustServerCertificate" => 0);
$serverName = "tcp:myserver.database.windows.net,1433";
$conn = sqlsrv_connect($serverName, $connectionInfo);

Right now, I need to embed the username and password in to the PHP code, using 1 generic username and password only for every user. May I know if there is a way to authenticate the sql server using Azure Active Directory as well with single sign-on or SAML?
