I have an issue with the header in the TOC. There is a big gap between the top of the page and the title of TOC. Further the TOC does not have the same style as the remaining report. Anybody able to help? Thanks in advance
[
Codes for the TOC is in the main:
pdfbookmark[0]{Indholdsfortegnelse}{toc}
tableofcontents*
label{ch:contents}
In the preamble:
bibliographystyle{apalike}
setsecnumdepth{subsection}
maxsecnumdepth{subsection}
settocdepth{subsection}
renewcommandcftbeforechapterskip{10pt}
renewcommandcftbeforesubsectionskip{1pt}
renewcommandcftbeforesectionskip{1pt}

(1) welcome, (2) as always on this site you are much more likely to get help if you provide a full minimal example instead of sniplets that we do not know what belongs to.

following @dalief's comment, the place where the toc header is defined is usually thedocumentclass
. since we don't know what that is, it's impossible to give a reliable answer.

IIRC, tableofcontents uses either chapter* or section* to do its formatting (most document classes).
