Unable to get mselect (using DRC package) to work as intended

0

I think I'm missing something obvious but I cannot get mselect to work the way that I expect it too.

My data is in a list called GroupData but has columns of signal and conc - which is what I would like to plot and fit.

I'm able to fit it individually using drm just fine using the following code:

datafit <-drm (signal~conc, data=GroupData, fct= LL.3(), weights = weighters)

However, based on the r documentation it looks I should be able to do the following

mselect(datafit, list(LL.3(), LL.5(), W1.3(), W1.4(), W2.4(), baro5()), linreg = TRUE)

but the output I get is the following

     logLik IC Lack of fit Res var
LL.3 -7.601717 23.20343 1 0.1863697
Quad -87.757770 183.51554 NA 4185.9275817
Cubic -87.638842 185.27768 NA 4467.8395506
Lin -94.244055 194.48811 NA 8744.3335908
LL.3 NA NA NA NA
LL.4 NA NA NA NA
LL.5 NA NA NA NA

My understanding from the documentation is that I should be able to compare a bunch of fits without having to use drm to individually fit them all first - but maybe I'm completely mistaken. What am I doing incorrectly?

thank you!
