compilation (executing) in Notepad++ using NppExe
I like to use Notepad++ for LaTeX and I use NppExec to execute the commands for compilation. I have been using the odd version of NppExec (0.5.3) for years and if there is an error, a warning like this pops up.
Before I updated it to the latest version of NppExec (0.6 RC1) , all I have to do is KILL
it, go back and make corrections then press F6
to execute it again.
In the latest version of NppExec (0.6 RC1), the KILL
does not EXIT the whole process
cd $(CURRENT_DIRECTORY)
clean.bat
del $(NAME_PART).pdf
pdflatex $(NAME_PART).tex
bibtex $(NAME_PART)
pdflatex $(NAME_PART).tex
pdflatex $(NAME_PART).tex
clean.bat
C:Program Files (x86)AdobeAcrobat 11.0AcrobatAcrobat.exe $(NAME_PART).pdf
Now, it stops one pdflatex
and moves onto the next pdflatex
command. So I have to kill the same thing THREE times before I can compile the correct version.
How can I change it so that I can kill the whole process in the first time?
Thanks.

You could probably use conditional execution in your batch file such that the second and third calls ofpdflatex
are not run depending on the exit code of the first run. stackoverflow.com seems to be more appropriate for this question, IMHO

You could probably use conditional execution in your batch file such that the second and third calls ofpdflatex
