Check if fluid container is full NvFlex UE4
I'm currently working on the fluid-simulation based game with Nvidia Flex on Unreal Engine 4. And I stopped because I don't know how to check if my static mesh component (container) is filled with water or not.
- I was thinking about calculating the mass of particles that are in this specific container because every particle has its own mass.
- I was thinking about making rubber-duck floating on the fluid surface and if duck will get out of container borders than this container is full.
If you know any other methods that will be easy to implement, please let me know.
Below I print screen from gameplay (colors are for debugging).
Water is purring to the container on top and then waterfalling down.
