Blackberry Dynamics SDK BBDAuthenticatingUI appears every 30 seconds

While actively using an iOS app that uses Blackberry Dynamics SDK, the BBDAuthenticatingUI view (the one that states "Authenticating..." with a spinner) appears around every 30-50 seconds. This should not be happening, as the user is authenticated and actively using the app. How can I get this to stop happening?
