WooCommerce - returning exactly which Category the product was added to the cart from
Scenario
A store has many products that can belong to many categories, but the store owners need to know which exact category the customer was in when they added that product to the cart and store that result as a hidden field against the line item in the order.

As on archive product category pages, the products are added to cart using Ajax, this need to rebuild a special Ajax add to cart functionality that will add the product category as custom cart item data… So without any code on your question, this is just too broad and a real development.

As on archive product category pages, the products are added to cart using Ajax, this need to rebuild a special Ajax add to cart functionality that will add the product category as custom cart item data… So without any code on your question, this is just too broad and a real development.
