openapi-generator - how to get a compile-able output for whole requestBody parameter

0

I used openapi-generator with the typescript-jquery templates. Some of my API methods are just quick definitions of some existing functions and as such the requestBody is defined as an ill-defined object:

  requestBody:
required: true
content:
application/json:
schema:
type: object

When the generation is complete, the parameter is displayed as:

UNKNOWN_BASE_TYPE: models.UNKNOWN_BASE_TYPE

I read about this, and note that the parameter name can't be set in OpenAPI 3.0, and that it should be called Payload or Body or something generic. I've also tried adding type mappings, models.UNKNOWN_BASE_TYPE=any, and this doens't work for changing type.

What do I have to do to get this kind of variable to come out as:

Body: any

when generated as Typescript?

Cheers,
Mark
