How to change a password to AES_Encrypt with an update in MyPHP

0

This is a pretty basic problem i am having with MyPHP database where i have entered 25 password that i now need to change to AES_Encrypt.

*UPDATE `EZY_Login` SET `Password` = AES_ENCRYPT(`Password01`, `RandomKey`) = 2;*

I am using this code in SQL to update my tables but i'm getting an error message.

**Error
SQL query:

UPDATE `EZY_Login` SET `Password` = AES_ENCRYPT(`Password01`, `RevserseKey`) = 2

MySQL said:

Documentation #1054 - Unknown column 'Password01' in 'field list'**

It may just be a case of me forgetting to put a space somewhere but any help would be much appreciated.

  • The error is telling you that you're trying to reference a column called Password1 which doesn't exist in that table. Do you think it should exist? Are you trying to do something other than reference a column? Why do you think this error message is wrong?

  • Password01 is a string, and should be quoted in the query
