java - create mini window in java
I'm using NetBeansIDE8.2 for a year,(i used netbeas as example, most of other programs work same way) i noticed something, in Netbeans --> options, When options window appears, there is no taskbar icon, or system tray, i guess it run inside NetBeans program thread, i created a project for test this, but i faild...
here is how NetBeans looks when opening option frame, no separate task
while my program creates a task for each frame created, my question is " can i do this with my java project?" if yes, how can it be done?
thanks for you

There is no information about how you create the GUI. Swing JDialog is one option.
