Express/NodeJS res.send() after a res.render()
I need to render a waiting page, perform a process and after finishing the process of redirecting to another result page. Same as this code:
app.get('/calculate', function(req,res){
res.render('waiting.ejs');
cal_result().then(function (){ //Function in a promise,
//it's takes 8-10 seconds
res.redirect('/success.ejs');
});
});
What would be the easiest and most correct way to do it?
node.js http express

Easiest to use AJAX on waiting.ejs that calls the calculate endpoint. When calculate finishes in the AJAX call, then you can redirect to the success page.
