adding tables of a PDF that was added using includepdf into the main list of tables

0

I am using a latex document which defines a new command as follows

newcommand{includearticle}[2]
{
cleartorecto
def ps@default
{
let @mkboth@gobbletwo
let @oddhead@empty
def @oddfoot{hfilsffamilythepage}
let @evenhead@empty
def @evenfoot{sffamilythepagehfil}
}

def phduio@ps{default}
def ps@low
{
let@mkboth@gobbletwo
let@oddhead@empty
def@oddfoot{hfilraisebox{-7.5mm}{sffamilythepage}}
let@evenhead@empty
def@evenfoot{raisebox{-7.5mm}{sffamilythepage}hfil}
}

let ps@none = ps@empty
setkeys{phduio@keys}{#1}

includepdf[pages = {-},width=210mm,pagecommand =
{thispagestyle{phduio@ps}}]{#2}
}

I then use the command to include several documents into the main dissertation file like so

 includearticle{Paper1}
includearticle{Paper2}
includearticle{Paper3}

I want to add the tables/figures of each PDF into the ones List of tables/figures of the main dissertation file.

I read that addtolist is the option to use, but I don't know how to declare it a variable for the includearticle command

  • Welcome! Please provide a complete minimum working example. Do you have the mentioned PDF-papers as LaTeX-files as well? So you could just use input{subfile-name} in the main file and let it all be done by itself. Or are the other files no LaTeX-files?
