How to use image as a link to external file?

0

I use graphicx to insert images in the document but I wonder if I can make one of those images work as a link to (a file) its high-resolution version.

Check this: tex.stackexchange.com/a/54928/120578... It uses hyperref package.

Also in here is a way for XeLaTeX: tex.stackexchange.com/a/85103/120578 because at least until a version the first comment's answer could not work for XeLaTeX.
