Update Angularjs view when model changes
I have an md-data-table that I need to edit by adding or deleting rows.
Data is retrieved from the database in the server side, we use Sockets to communicate between the front and the backend.
In my HTML :
<tr md-row md-select="user" md-on-select="logItem" md-auto-select="options.autoSelect" ng-repeat="user in users.data | filter: filter.search | orderBy: query.order | limitTo: query.limit : (query.page -1) * query.limit"> table structure </tr>
For the controller :
$scope.refreshData = function(){
Socket.data_users(function(data){
$scope.users = {
"count": data.length,
"data": data
};
});
};
refreshData is called after adding, editing or deleting rows, however, it only works when deleting a row (the table is updated), when adding or editing a row, the table doesn't update even though refreshData is called.
I have also tried adding $scope.$apply() to the refreshData function and I have the same result.
Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong here?
What I need is to see the changes in the table instantly as we make the change.
Thank you for your help
