Picture take whole page, no text on the page
So, I have a picture that doesnt take up the whole page. Basically this picture can float freely within the section, as long as the page stays clear of any text. pagebreak kind of works but the result is quite ugly since it just cuts the text were I place it. I used begin{figure}[t!] and it kind of qorks, but on the bottom of the page there is some space for text. How can I "lock" this space?
documentclass[12pt,a4paper]{article}
usepackage{graphicx}
%plus some other packages
begin{document}
section{sectiona}
%...1.5 pages of text...
begin{figure}[t!]
begin{center}
includegraphics[width=8.5 cm]{path...}
end{center}
caption{...}
label{...}
end{small}
end{figure}
end{document}
