passing array from js plugin

0

sorry this may seem a noobish question but I'm trying to use the values from an array that's generated by the amsify.suggestags plugin and use them for my own stuff.

The array is being automatically logged to the console via the following function in the plugin:

printValues : function() {
console.info(this.tagNames, $(this.selector).val());
}

adding or removing tags in my input
input

logs an array to the console like so:
logged to console after tag added or removed

my code (in separate js file)

var $input = $('#tagsearch');
array = ;

$input.amsifySuggestags({
suggestions: searchTags,
tagLimit: 100,
afterAdd: function(value) {
lastTagAdded = value;
console.log("tag added: " + lastTagAdded);
Update();
},
afterRemove: function(value) {
lastTagRemoved = value;
console.log("tag removed: " + lastTagRemoved);
Update();
},
});

function Update() {
//update my search params
}

function searchTags() {
// search
}

function saveTags() {
//save to "mytags"

}

As you can probably tell I'm still learning so would appreciate any tips or feedback. Thx in advance!
