lstinputlisting on VS Code

lstinputlisting used to work on other LaTeX IDEs like such:
lstinputlisting[language=C]{"Folder1/Folder2/File.c"}
But VS Code, which uses latexmk (which I hear isn't that much listings friendly), doesn't recognize the file I link to in the parentheses. And even if I link to a file in the same folder as the main .tex file, like this:
lstinputlisting[language=C]{"File.c"}
It still doesn't recognize the file! How can I link external files via lstinputlisting?
(System is Windows 10)
