Restify, serve static files in folder, and all HTML as index.html
I start learning NodeJS, and play a little bit with Restify.
i am going to use AngularJS, and it's view router, so i want all the views to eventually point to the save actual index.html.
i tried to configure my webserver to provide static files (.css, .jpg, etc...),
but for all /html/ requests, should return the index.html as follow:
server.get('/web/*.html', restify.plugins.serveStatic({
directory: __dirname + '\web',
file: 'index.html'
}));
server.get('/web/*', restify.plugins.serveStatic({
directory: __dirname + '\web',
default: 'index.html'
}));
but it serves everything under /web/ as index.html
(e.g. localhost:8080/web/myimage.jpg also rander my index.html)
seems like the first '/web/*.html' fires disregarding my ,html match.
where am I wrong?
javascript node.js routes restify static-files

Which version ofrestifyare you using? This works fine for me, apart from the fact that the directory option needs to be just__dirnameand not__dirname + '\web'
