Android Studio cannot resolve symbol of newly imported module dependency
I downloaded the JAR file for NanoHTTPD from the link on this page. Then, in Android Studio 3.2.1 I from File -> Project Structure I clicked on the "+" icon and selected "Import .JAR / .AAR package" and found the JAR file I downloaded, and added it to the project. Then still in Project Structure I selected my app module, clicked on "Dependencies", the "+" and added the module that the import just created.
But when I try to import fi.iki.elonen.NanoHTTPD; in my code, I get the error "Cannot resolve symbol NanoHTTPD". I have tried cleaning and rebuilding the project from the build menu.
How do I get Android Studio to properly recognize and use the JAR file / module that I have already imported?
